This is great to find people that you only know online by their forum/username.
Usernames allow public entities to easily promote your presence on Facebook with a short URL (http://www.facebook.com/companyname).
This username can be used in your marketing communications, company website and business cards.

Starting at 12:01 a.m. (EDT) on Saturday, June 13, 2009, you will be able to select a username at http://www.facebook.com/username. For more information, visit the Username help topic.
You can claim your user name for your facebook profile and any fan pages (if you meet 2 requirements) by going to http://www.facebook.com/username/.
